About Nepean Centre
Nepean Centre provides quality care in a fully accessible five bed residence. We provide short stays, after school and holiday programs for children and young people, 4 – 17yrs living with disability (up until they reach 18 years of age).
Nepean Centre is a safe and supported space where there is the opportunity to identify and work towards individual goals including:
- Practice and build on independent living skills
- Improved relationships
- Increased social and community participation
- Improve life choices
- Assistance with daily life
● Long established history of supporting and advocating for children living with disability since the 1960s.
● Local staff who care about the children having fun and feeling safe and comfortable no matter where they are.
● Great residency with plenty of space for various types of play e.g. sensory room, outdoor undercover soft play and outdoor gardening/sand and water play, Netflix and other movies, arts/crafts and plenty of games in communal lounge.
● Modified wheelchair friendly van for outings to local accessible play area’s or events.
